Introduced in 1987, Italy’s .IT country-specific top-level domain is really popular both locally and in the English-speaking world. The reason is that the domain is a pronoun, which can be used for forming imaginative and attractive domain names – write.it, youcanmake.it and so on. This is a way to create an easy-to-learn domain name, so that it will be easier for your visitors to return to your website or to share it with associates and friends.
